Your privacy
Last updated 13 October 2026
The Nappy Company is operated by [COMPANY NAME] Pty Ltd (ABN [ABN]), referred to here as "we", "us" or "our". We take care with the things families trust us with, and that includes your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
We only collect what we need to run The Nappy Company.
- Founding list. Your email address, the date you joined and whether you have opened or clicked our emails.
- Orders and subscriptions (from launch). Your name, delivery address, phone number, order history, subscription preferences and the nappy sizes you choose. If you tell us a due date or your baby's size, we use it only to suggest the right size and timing.
- Payments. Card payments are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
- Messages. Anything you send us by email, direct message or our customer service team.
- Technical information. Basic information your browser sends when you visit, such as your IP address, device and browser type.
You can browse this website without telling us who you are. If you would rather not give us certain information, we may not be able to send you a box.
How we use it
- To send founding list news and your founding member offer.
- To take, pack, deliver and manage your orders and subscription.
- To answer your questions and look after you if something goes wrong.
- To send marketing emails, only where you have agreed to receive them.
- To improve our products, website and service.
- To meet our legal obligations, such as tax records and consumer law.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for anything unrelated to The Nappy Company.
Emails from us
We only send marketing emails if you have asked to hear from us, for example by joining the founding list. Every email identifies us and includes an unsubscribe link, and we act on unsubscribe requests within five working days, as the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) requires. If you unsubscribe from marketing, we may still send emails about an order or subscription you have with us.
Who we share it with
We work with a small number of trusted service providers who help us run the business. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.

Some of these providers store information outside Australia, as listed above. Before we share information with an overseas provider, we take reasonable steps to make sure it is handled in a way consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to a buyer if the business is ever sold, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information.

Keeping it safe

When we no longer need information, and are not required to keep it by law, we delete it or de-identify it. If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will tell you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Accessing or correcting your information
